Privacy policy

Last updated 1 November 2026. This policy explains what Oz DA Tracker (run by Oz DA Tracker, an OzTracker service, based in Queensland, Australia) collects and how we use it.

Information about you

We keep your email address, your plan and subscription status, your chosen council areas and saved searches, the emails we send you, and basic usage records (such as when you last signed in). We use these to run your account, send sign-in codes and alerts, and look after the service.

Payments

Paddle.com, our reseller, takes payments. Your card details go to Paddle, not to us. Paddle tells us your subscription status so we can turn access on or off. Paddle's own privacy policy covers what it collects.

Who else handles data

The site and emails run on Cloudflare. We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.

Information in development applications

Applications are information councils make publicly available. We don't show private individuals' names; business names are shown where the applicant is a business. If you're named in an application and want something reviewed or removed from our service, email us and we'll look at it promptly.

Emails

Alert emails only go out for searches you save, and each one has a link to stop it. Sign-in codes and account emails (such as trial reminders and payment notices) are part of running your account.

Keeping and deleting

We keep account information while your account is open. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your details, except records we must keep by law.

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or make a complaint, at hello@ozdatracker.com. If you're not satisfied with our answer you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
